"I loved boot camp. The location and time were so convenient for me. Exercising prior to heading into work started my day in the right direction and made me feel great the whole day. "

Bay Area Boot Camp Expands Around and Beyond the Bay
New Locations and Class Times Offer Participants Flexibility and Convenience

San Francisco, CA/September 25, 2006 -- “We’re really excited about the increasing popularity of our program, and we’ve developed new locations and added class times to give people more flexibility,” said Bay Area Boot Camp co-founder Heather Glenn.

Since inaugurating its first camp for women at San Francisco’s Crissy Field in 2004, the company has added locations in the following Bay Area cities:

San Francisco (Aquatic Park, Presidio Bowl, and Golden Gate Park)
San Mateo (Central Park)
Palo Alto (Rinconada Park)
Sunnyvale (De Anza Park)
Campbell (Campbell Park)
Walnut Creek (Heather Farms Park)

Bay Area Boot Camp has also started evening co-ed camps in San Mateo and Sunnyvale – and will begin offering co-ed classes in San Francisco in October.

The company is also pleased to announce its expansion beyond the Bay to Kalispell, Montana and Chicago, Illinois.

“We’re also offering 9 am classes and evening classes in many of our locations to accommodate those who aren’t able to make the early morning camps,” Glenn said.

In addition to establishing new locations and offering multiple class times, Bay Area Boot Camp has designed 3, 4, 5, and 6-week camps -- and is giving participants the option to attend successive boot camp sessions 3, 4, or 5 days per week.

“We’ve also instituted annual memberships,” Glenn added, “which represent a significant cost savings for repeat campers.

“Basically, we want to make sure our program is as convenient and accessible as possible for anyone who wants to participate – short or long-term.”
