AlaVie Fitness Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Bay Area Boot Camp Inaugurates Campbell Fitness Center At Bay Area Boot Camp, the name of the game has always been taking fitness to the highest level. At the same time, the company knows there’s more to health and wellness than a challenging workout. “We believe in balancing exercise with rest and recovery,” said Mary Beth Gonzales, Bay Area Boot Camp co-founder and COO, “We want to help people meet their fitness targets, but we also want to give them the tools to take care of their bodies in other ways.” With this goal in mind, Bay Area Boot Camp opened the Campbell Fitness Center in October, 2006. The facility is a one-stop health and wellness hub that offers physical therapy and massage services. Administered by the company’s expert coaching staff, these services are designed by and for Bay Area Boot Campers, although Gonzales emphasized that non-Boot Camp participants are also invited to take advantage of the programs. “Whether you’re trying to recover from a sports injury, dealing with chronic pain, or just want to treat yourself, our staff can help you,” Gonzales said. Denise Bradley, Bay Area Boot Camp’s in-house physical therapist, has a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University. “I’ve been practicing as an orthopedic physical therapist in the Bay Area for ten years, specializing in the treatment and prevention of sports-related and overuse injuries of the extremities,” Bradley said. Meanwhile, Cammie Agatep, Bay Area Boot Camp’s Certified Massage Therapist, specializes in shiatsu, reflexology and stretching techniques. Her practice focuses on deep muscle and tissue relaxation, stress reduction and management, disease prevention, increased flexibility, and improved circulation. In addition, Agatep helps clients release toxins and reduce their blood pressure. “Opening the Campbell Fitness Center has been a thrill for us,” Gonzales said, “We see it as part of our larger mission as a health and wellness company to help people bring balance to their lives.” ABOUT ALAVIE FITNESS:
