Kezar Stadium
Directions:
Meet on the track. You can see the stadium on the bottom right corner on the map above. You can park on the street or there is a parking lot next to the stadium off of Stanyan just before you reach Frederick Street. To get to Kezar Stadium from the west take Frederick Street and then turn left onto Stanyan and then another quick left into the parking lot. From the panhandle side, just take Stanyan and watch for the parking lot on your right after you pass Waller. Parking is $1.50-$3.00.
Stow Lake
Directions:
We meet on the north side of Stow Lake which is in the center of the park (at approximately 19th Avenue). To get there you will need to get to JFK Drive which runs on the north side of GG Park. (Martin Luther King Jr. Drive runs along the south side.) From JFK, follow the directions below.
From JFK Dr:
Turn left if you are coming from the East (panhandle) or right if you are coming from the West (ocean) onto Stow Lake Drive (you will see a grey sign saying Stow Lake and Chinese Pavillion). Drive up the hill and bear to the left towards the Chinese Pavillion. Do not go straight ahead into the parking lot next to the boat rentals. As you round the corner to the left you will see the lake and up ahead you will see a cement bridge which is partially covered by a tree. Park anywhere on the street either before or after the bridge. We will meet on the bridge.
Children's Playground at Golden Gate Park
Directions:
At the intersection of MLK Jr. Drive and Kezar. See map below for location. The best way to get to the Playground from the Panhandle side of the park is to take Kezar and then turn right on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and then take your first right into the parking lot.
From the west it would probably be best to get onto MLK Jr. Drive and drive until it turns into Bowling Green Drive and then turn right into the parking lot.
