Carolyn Sanchez has always enjoyed participating in athletics – and has had a lot of success doing it.
At Amador Valley High School, she played varsity soccer for two years (NCS champions both years), varsity basketball, ran track and played tennis. She also earned all-league honors as the league’s leading goalkeeper in shut outs and GPG average.
Carolyn went on to Sonoma State University, where she played goalkeeper on the National Championship soccer team, went to the Final Four 3 out of 4 years, and was an NSCAA All-American.
After graduating, Carolyn went on to play for the Women’s Professional Soccer League and was National Most Valuable Goalkeeper in 2001. Carolyn also coached at Sonoma State and at UC Santa Barbara as well as at the youth and high school levels.
In addition to her soccer accomplishments, Carolyn has also completed many triathlons, half-marathons, and a full marathon.
In light of her many athletic achievements, Carolyn insists that her most demanding physical challenge to date has been “raising twins.”
As a coach and personal trainer Carolyn enjoys helping others to realize their athletic potential and achieve their goals, “all while having fun.”
“Your fitness is one of your most precious assets,” Carolyn says, “So work hard to make it the best it can be.”
